Hey Pommie and Hallie,
I just wanted to say a massive thank you for all your hard work with the girls and particularly the time you’ve put in with Charlotte. Her confidence levels have skyrocketed since training with you both at Point 1 and UTS.
She’s still a little unsure at UTS as she’s growing so quick and sometimes takes a little time to work out her movement but she’s getting more confident each week.
She is absolutely loving her football which is the main thing but the environment you have both created is next level. I’ve been around heaps of football. Played manly all juniors before playing in Japan and in the old National league then coming back to Manly for years. Also played indoor for Australian u17 and was lucky enough to tour with them. I’ve been coaching at manly and in the local PL for years as well. Not saying this for any other reason except to show that I’ve seen and been part of a lot of football but what you’ve created at Point 1 is something special.
How you push the teams to buy into your philosophy is so hard to do at that age. The girls all care about the team, the girls next to them and about being good humans through their football and that leads them to being successful. So many other academies and clubs are about winning and pushing players to individual success yet what you created is a bunch of footballers that win as a team. They fight for each other and play quality football because they are happy, feel supported and have been given the confidence and skills through Point 1 to back themselves and their teammates
All the team had dinner last night together and there was so much laughter and joy amongst the players and parents purely because of the mate-ship you’ve created. Continue to be the awesome role models that you are because the girls absolutely love you and look up to you not only as coaches and footballers but also as strong women.

Point 1 Football is the difference between a great football academy and an elite football academy. Caitlin "Pommie" Jarvie and her coaching team live the life of which my kids dreams are made. Caring for Scarlett
Belrose CC

Hi Caitlin
My name is Katie Dresner. I am the Educational Leader at Belrose CC and wanted to reach out with some feedback from the coaching session you did with us back in September.
Firstly, thank you for your flexibility in rescheduling so many times due to various circumstances. We appreciate your patience and professionalism.
From start to finish you were so professional and a true inspiration for all. The children were all really engaged in the session and enjoyed your fun, yet educational approach to teaching new skills. You were so great with grouping the children and explaining all aspects of the activities. The staff also commented on how much they learnt and can now use these skills when teaching soccer fundamentals themselves.
We also had some feedback from the parents. They mentioned how excited their child was to have participated and that they now have joined a soccer team themselves .Many parents also commented on the initiative of the coaching session taking place just after the women’s world cup and shared their enjoyment was even more heightened around this time. We really love that you could come and show the children how a female can be such an important role model in what is predominately known as a male sport. We have a strong anti-bias program and an important message for the children is highlighting that no matter your gender you can do what you love. It was great to see how all the children looked at you with such awe and we hope that they will see that sport is for everyone. Physical and mental health and wellbeing is also embedded into our philosophy, so your visit was just perfect to continue to promote this.
Thank you again for such a wonderful incursion for the children. You are welcome back anytime and we apprciate what you do for the soccer community.
